How to identify the quality for socks?

Firstly, we need to check the material. Socks can be made the material of wool, bamboo, cotton, polyester, T/C.

The wool and bamboo is very expensive, these socks are luxury goods, sold with special shop.

Generally speaking, the market socks have two kinds of material. 

One is cotton, the other is polyester, the cost of cotton is much higher than polyester. It looks the same, almost no one can identified by eyes. You can burn it by fire, the cotton will turns into powder after burning. If it has a bad plastic smell, it is polyester. The cotton material is usually to be used for infant baby socks, kids socks ect.
